Building India's PG Operating System
We're on a mission to digitize, organize, and elevate the ₹1.2 lakh crore paying guest industry.
Why We Exist
India has over 5 crore PG beds, yet more than 90% are managed on paper registers, Excel sheets, and WhatsApp groups. Rent collection is tracked in notebooks. Complaints are handled via missed calls. Maintenance requests disappear into group chats.
RentFlow was born from watching PG owners juggle rent collection, tenant complaints, meal management, and maintenance — all manually, all simultaneously, all while trying to grow their business. The result is predictable: missed payments, frustrated residents, and operators who burn out before they scale.
We believe every PG owner deserves the same operational power as a large hotel chain — automated billing, real-time occupancy dashboards, digital complaint tracking, and a professional public website — without the enterprise price tag.
That's why we're building RentFlow: the operating system that makes this possible. Free for small operators. Powerful for large chains. Built entirely for India.
Our Values
Three principles that guide every product decision we make.
Operator-First
Every feature starts with a real PG operator's pain point. We don't build for investors — we build for the person collecting rent at 10 PM.
Radical Simplicity
If a PG owner with a smartphone can't figure it out in 60 seconds, we haven't shipped it.
Built for India
₹ currency by default. WhatsApp notifications. Aadhaar verification. UPI payments. India isn't an afterthought — it's our entire thesis.
The Humans Behind RentFlow
We're a small, focused team of engineers, designers, and domain experts who are deeply passionate about solving real operational problems for India's PG industry. We believe in shipping fast, testing rigorously, and listening to operators obsessively.
Every member of our team has spent time visiting PG properties, sitting with operators, and understanding their daily workflows. This isn't software built from a boardroom — it's software built from the ground up.
